Een van mijn huidige breiprojecten is een trui uit Verena, herfst 2011. Het is met recht een project, want de constructie is nogal ingewikkeld. Ieder pand bestaat uit drie delen, tussen het onder en boven voor- en rugpand komt een schuine kabel. Voor- en rugpand worden in spiegelbeeld gebreid, maar in het patroon staat nauwelijks, hoe je dat moet doen, zodat het ook past. Op de foto hierbij staat de schuine bies, die onder- en bovenpand verbindt. Waarschijnlijk heb ik net te weinig van de rode wol omde tweede bies af te maken. Dat wordt dus weer een reisje naar de wolwinkel, vrees ik
One of my knitting projects at the moment Is a sweater from verena, fall 2011. It is quite a project, because the construction is rather complicated. Front and back are both in three parts, between top and bottom is a cable piece that slopes up from left to right. Front and back have to be knit mirrorwise. How to do that, so that the parts really fit, the pattern doesn't tell very well. In the picture here is this cable band, which comes between upper and lower front and back. Probably there won't be enough of the red yarn. That will mean another trip to the LYS, I fear.
Ik heb deze foto met de iPad gemaakt, om eens te kijken hoe dat allemaal werkt. Daarom laat ik het maar bij een foto. Later volgen er ongetwijfeld meer. Nu ga ik nog even mijn rode wol opbreien.

Dan ben ik dus blij dat ik er niet zelf aan begonnen ben. Maar u houd toch wel van een uitdaging? :-) Ik neem tenminste aan dat het de trui van Judith wordt. Natuurlijk ga ik er helemaal van uit dat het, zoals meestal, helemaal goed komt.
